WELLINGTON LAND BOARD ELECTION. TO THE CROWN TENANTS. Ladies & Gentlemen, I am a candidate for the vacancy on the Land Board. Ten years’ strenuous residence in the back blocks is my leading qualification. Such an experience tends to enkindle the warmest sympathy for the people on the land, and if you elect me as your representative it will be my constant endeavour to assist and encourage those with the hardest row to hoe, and to extend all the available discretionary power compatible with a sound administration of the Land Laws to those most in need of assistance, and to faithfully serve your best interests. My nomination affords an oppor-. tunity to support a bona fide settler and one of yourselves. Touching the personnel of the Land Board as a supporter of democratic principles, I am strongly of opinion that all members except the Chief Commissioner should be elected by the Crown tenants, and those that pay me the extreme compliment of supporting my candidature will be endorsing that opinion. Yours respectfully, A. J. JOBLIN, Titiraukawa Block, Pohonui. WELLINGTON LAND BOARD ELECTION. TO THE ELECTORS. Ladies & Gentlemen, At the forthcoming election I shall be a candidate for your suffrages. On land settlement I am a firm believer in the optional tenure, and would strenuously support any movement.giving leaseholders the right of purchase. As I am now, and have been, a tenant of the Crown in this district for the last fourteen years, and being conversant with the various phases of Land Board matter?, I respectfully solicit your support, and will, if elected, do all that I reasonably can to advance your interests. 1 am, Yours obediently, CHAS. McINTYRE, Rangiwahia. NURSE. Mrs O’SULLIVAN, Robert Street, Marton, is open for engagement.
