United Frees Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. , London, May 6, ■ Mr McKenna, First Lord of the Admiralty, in reply to a question in the Honse of Commons, informed Mr W, Redmond that the Australian -'Commonwealth’s proposals for an Australian fleet were being considered by the Government. Mr Maonamara, speaking at Hartlepool, affirmed that ’the Navy was in a position of unchallengeable supremacy, and lie stared that the Government was determined to maintain that position.
