A violent demonstration followed, and the tramcars were attacked. - Received May 6, 10.50 a.m. Sydney, May 6. Advices have been received that Weir and Company have placed orders in Glasgow ;for the construction of four high class cargo steamers for the Sydney-Auckland-San Francisco service.
