BEFORE MR THOMSON, S.M. THIS DAY. On the evidence of Inspector Simms, the following were fined on the charge of continuously failing to prevent' mussel! scale and oodlin moth from spreading in their orchards:—S. J. Teaz, 80s, costs £1 18s; J. Broadbelt, 80s. 28s; O. Seigal, 20a, 43s ; -W. B. Gieson, 20s, 3bs; Annie Bonesa, 10s, 345. Charles Mitchell, who pleaded guilty to a ohargegof.betting with an “infant,” Bernard Hooker, aged 18. on Matron racecourse, was fined £lO and 7s costs. K, Perry, £8 19a 10d, 23s 6d ; Farmers’Motor O. v. M; T. Naughton, £25, 86a; J. Oobbe v. F, Mclntosh, lls, ss; W. J. Honore v. O Blaokler, £2l 2s 6d, 545; O. Marston v. O.
