The Postmaster-General says he cannot understand the New Zealand Minister of Mines (Mrj Roderick McKenzie’s) recent statement that there was no chance of Australia joining an “All Red’’ scheme under the conditions outlined by Canada, since the Federal Government had .made arrangements funder which sis vessels wore to he built. Mr Thomas points oat that the ■'only sis vessels with which the Federal Goernraent is concerned are the new boats for the Orient service, and they have no relation whatever to the “All Red’’ scheme.
