WELLINGTON LAND BOARD.
The monthly meeting of the Wellington Land Board was held on • Thursday, the members present being:-Mr James MaoKenzie, Commissioner of Crown Lands and Messrs A. Reese, Joseph'Dawson g,nd O. J. Canton. 1 TRANSFERS, The following transfers were approved :—Section 81, block 11, Hantapn, from S. S. Haigh to M. J. Haigh; section 2, block 11, Kaitieke, from O. Voas to O. H. aud i. ,W. Voss subject to' ranger’s report being satisfactory • section 39, Mangaweka Village Settlement, from J. Harrison to F. Heerdegan subject to necessary conditions being complied with ; section 9, block 6, Hautapu, from F. S. Goodbabere to P. J- Hurley; sections 8. G 7 and «8, block 15, Rangitoto, from I. Keith to J. Evans; -section 1, block 11, Retarube, ±rom , J. P. Punch to J. S. Lacy subject to ) ranger's report being satisfactory. w. Moa. Duncan applied to transfer section 83, blocks 10 and 11, Tinraukawa to T. A. Duncan.-Con-sideration postponed until it in ascertained what other land Mr T. A. Dnnoan holds or owns. A proposed transfer of section lo and 19, block 10. Manganui, from J. Adkins to L, Meyer, was deferred until next meeting. A transfer of section 5, block o, Waipaknra, from P. V. B. Cameron to T. E. Mao Lean was approved. An application from E. W. Harris to sublease section 23, Mataroa Yil lage "Settlement, to Philip Clark for five years was deferred until a report from the Crown Lands ranger is - obtained. .. , . O. L. Bankart applied for permission to exchange trees on his section 11, block 10, Rangataua Village Settlement, for an equivalent quantity of out timber for building purposes.—Granted subject to certain conditions. , • Titles to the undermentioned land were granted subject to the usual conditions: —Section 8, block 13, Mangahao, Mrs M. Hall; sections IS and 14, block 3, Tiriraukawa, S. P. S. Whitton, _ . , . S. Stent was granted a lease of 34 acres of section 18, Earawarewa Village Settlement, at a rental of £5 2s 6d per acre and on condition that the Receiver of Land Revenue receives half the value of any timber 80ld. ~ -rr-n Unsold fsections in Eewa Village are to be offered at the upset prices.
