TASMANIAN ELECTIONS.

THE HARE SYSTEM OF VOTING,

United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received May 1, 9.37ga.m. Hobart, May 1.

Under the new system of polling the full results will not be known till nest week. Judging from the incomplete returns Labour has secured four more seats, and there are indications that many Conservatives in the old Parliament have been defeated. The Premier and Treasurer are certain of return, bnt the election of the Minister of Lands is doubtful. Women took a great interest in the election and polled heavily.
