Per Press Association. Auckland, April 33. A proclamation, issued by the Governor of German Samoa, relating to the disaffected chiefs, states that they are to be deported with their relatives to Lipan Island, in the Caroline group, that in six Islands over which they ruled no new appointments will be made for one year, all guns and ammunition must be surrendered to the German authorities and the head of every Jamily must pay a tax of thirty marks in addition to the ordinary tax of twelve marks. The Governor lays tress on the lenient treatment meted out and expresses a hope that it will be appreciated by loyal natives.
