-Bonny Jean was bought by Mr Ourrie, of New Zealand, for 230 gs. The sale of Hyman for SOOOgs has fallen through. Neith has been privateiv sold fox India for 2000 gs. The stallion St. Simmer broke his back, and was destroyed. HORSES DELAYED. Press Association. Christchurch, April 19. Owing to the mishap to the Mararoa, Mason, the trainer, will be unable to take Perle D’Or and Miss Mischief north to-night for the first day of the Wellington Races. It is not settled yet whether the horses will be taken op to fulfil their engagements on the second day.

Wellington, April 20. At Trsntham this morning Flitaway ran seven furlongs in Imiu 28 2-sseo. Husbandman and Whistlecraft went a mile in Imin 43sec. Kilwinning and Taskmaster put np the morning’s record for five furlongs rna in Imin Iseo. Martyrinnx beat Miscast over six furlongs in Imin ISsec. Xylophone and Diamond Star went five furlongs in Imin 2secs. Sir Tristram ran six furlongs in Imm ISsec. Kairoma went a mile in Imin 48seo. Wood hey ran seven fnrlonga in Imin SJOsec. Master Sonlt and Elysian rah six fnrlongs in Imin 17sec. All Red ran away from Diabolo over five furlongs run in Imin 4sec. Courier ran six furlongs Jin Imin I9sec. Aborigine and Maori King ran six furlongs in Imin 15 l-ssec. Roosevelt went five furlongs in Imin 6seo. After breakfast Bobrikoff, paced by Glissade and Ambola, put np a record for the track, doing seven furlongs in Imin 27 2-sseo. Sunbonnet beat Aboriginal over five fnrlongs in Imin Iseo. Consolation and Merrie Rose did a similar journey in slower time. Ballarat went a strong mile, doing the last seven furlongs in Imin 34sec. Sandstream went two rounds at half pace. Aberbrothock and Feroliua did five fnrlongs in Imin 3aeo.
