DR. CHARCOT’S WINTER QUARTERS.

Letters brought by whalers report that Dr. Charcot’s Antarctic expeditionary'vessel, the Ponrqnoi Pas, spent Christmas at Deception Island. It will winter in Alexander Land, a long way to the east of the winter quarters of Lieut. Shackleton’s expedition.
