Newspapres severely comment on Mr Churchill's placing among stupid and vicious errors the attempt to measure the strength of the Navy only in Dreadnoughts. They declare this is ao attack on Mr Asquith. Mr McKenna in his further statement Says that men count first then guns. He is also condemned as implying that having a fine body of sailors it is needless to bother as to the particulars of the class of ships. The Times charges Mr Churchill with obstinately reserving his views at all hazards and obstructing Cabinet’s decision on vital questions. i The Standard says that Mr Churchill throws his leaders over.
