SOCIALISTS AT LOGGERHEADS. United Press Association.— By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright, y , v London, April 14.
A sensation occurred at the Edinburgh Conference of the Independent Labour Party,' Messrs Keir Hardie, Sncwden, Ramsay MacDonald, and Qlasier resigning their membership of the Administrative Council owing to the Conference adopting a vote of semi-sympathy with Mr Victor Grayson and suggesting that the Council should endeavour to come to terms with Messrs Grayson, Blatohford, and other irreconoilables, who object to the Council’s ' desire to work with the Liberals. The resigners considered this a vote of censure. After a hot-tempered debate the Conference begged reconsideration of the resigners’ decision. Mr Qlasier is resigning the editorship of : the Labour Leader.
