WEDDING.
On Monday, the 13th inat., at th« residence of Mr F. Simpson, Ohakea, by the Rev. E. Evans, Miss Jessie F.,Richardson, daughter of the late Mr T. F. Richardson, of Karafca Tetraoe, was married to Mr- George F York, son of tha late Captain York of Pictou. v :The bride, who was given away by her brother-in-law, Mr F. Simpson, was attired in an Empire gown of erf am chiffon taffeta, trimmed with silk lace, with hat to match. HI o also wore a gold watch ami chain, the gilt of lbs bridegroom. The bride was attended by her niece, Miss Sydney Broughton, who wore an Empire gown of pale green ninon d’soie, with hat to match, also a handsome gold brooch set with emeralds and rubies, the gift of the bridegroom* Mr Bernard Nolan, nephew of the bride, discharged the duties of beat man. Afternoon tea was dispensed by Mrs P Simpson, after which ;Mr and Mrs York left for Wellington, en route for their future home at Pioton, The bride’s travelling dress was a most becoming dark tailormade costume with mole hat. The newly-wedded couple were the re- • oipieuts of many useful and costly presents, including several cheques.
