Auckland, April 7. Very little fast work was registered at Ellerslie this morning. All Red covered a mile oa the sand at threequarter pace. Sir Antrim covered seven furlongs in Imiu ' 34860. Maori King and Moriarty spurted four furlongs in 53sed. Aborigine beat Wimmera over a similar distance in 51seo. All Red, Lady Medallist, Masterful, Golden Eagle Het Yolk, Waipu, Bull worth and Moral arrived yesterday. RIOOARTON TRAINING NOTES. Per Press Association. Christchurch, April 7. 5J For training operations at Riccarton this morning the weather was beautiful. There was a slight frost over night, and not much work of interest was done. Sharpshooter dashed over four furlongs on the plough in Slseo, finishing well. Thistledown went six furlongs in Imin 18seo. Xylophone, Rialto, Shawnee and St. Felix ran a steady circuit and sprinted the last three furlongs, going very strong. Ability did easy oanteriog over a circuit, and most of the horses did only half to steady pacing. After breakfast Southern Cross with a light weight up ran a mile in Imin 47seo. Czar Kololiol went four furlongs in 50see. Kilwinning ran the same distance in 49 3-sseo. Contender and Tremulous did a circuit at a strong pace, the last half mile taking 51aeo. Contender’s work was very pleasing. Easy work was done by a host of others.
