Chan tense, with a light weight up, covered a similar distance in Imin 30 2,-oseo. Downfall, Morriwai and Hyperion finished in that order at the end of five furlongs ran in Imin 4seo. Tetrazzini heat Tukutuku and Elysiau over four furlongs in 50seo. Gladsmuir and Bully finished together, with Freevata beaten off, over a round on the sand in 2<nin 2sec. First Male did seven furlongs in Imin 36 i-ssec. Aborigine pleased better than Moriarty over six furlongs run in Imin 20seo. Aldearn alone covered a similar distance in Imin 20sec. Maori King was going easier than Winamera at the end of five furlongs in Imin ssec. Sir Antrim did seven furlongs in Imin 34sec. After breakfast Dardanus heat Rarata and Explosive over six furlongs in Imin 18seo. Tamainnpo beat Lady Frances and Aimwell over five furlongs in Imin osec. Kakama did a similar task. Ben Johnson and Te Aral went a round of the hurdles, there being nothing to choose between the pair at £he finish. Paritutu jumped a couple of hurdles, moving very scratchily. The best gallop of the morning was done by Bollin and Diamond Star, who went 7 furlongs in Imin 30%sec, finishing abreast. After breakfast excellent work was done on the grass. Yaldimat beat Has and Passion by a length over six furlongs in Imin 18sec. Pasnakyle and Taskmaster did the same distance in Imin 19seo. A number of others were given light tasks. Tumufe and Osiris arrived this morning.
