From Our Own Correspondent. Tho annual meeting of the Football Oinb was held on Saturday. Players and those interested came from all parts of the district. The following officers were elected :—President, Mr Charles Mclntyre; vicepresidents, Mr A. W. O'Dwyer, K. McKenzie, sen., D. H. Guthrie, M.P., and George Ker; honorary members, A. Grant, Q. Brown, Cowan, McKinnon, R. Craig, S., Prowse, W. Grav. M. Bielski, J. H. Carey, and F. Sawyell; captain, T. Bonn; vice-captain, A. Aruoti; secretary, K. McKenzie, jun. ; selection committee, Messrs Dunn, Arnott, K. McKenzie, jun. ; management committee, Messrs F. Hyde, Arnott, 1 O’Dwyer, Mclntyre, and Dunn. It was decided that member’s subscription he 2s 6d, subject to further call of 2s 6d if found necessary. The season I will be opened with a ball on Friday, 16sh April, and on the following afternoon with a scratch match. Mr A v W. O’Dwyef will be referee. The dauce is in the hands of a strong committee and many ladies have promised to assist with refreshments.
