The German Minister then informed ‘the Portuguese Government ■' that he was sorry for the mistake, and that he had exceeded his instructions. The British fleet thereupon returned to Gibraltar. - The Daily Telegraph reports that „ tthe Vienna press supports the strong agitation in Austrian naval circles in favour of the construction of Dreadnoughts. . _ Berlin. April 5. The newspaper Krenz Zeitung, owing to the financial deadlock, is in j favour of Germany coming to an arrangement with Britain on the question of naval shipbuilding. MONEY FOR DREADNOUGHTS.
