It was decided to withhold section 3 1, block 3, Manngakaretn, with a view of milling the timber thereon. A title was granted to G. Moore, jon,, section 904, block 14, Rewa, 360 acres. M. Ruiss applied to transfer section 5, block 9, Ruahine, 300 acres, to R. B. Hornblow.—Approved, subject to residential conditions being complied with and full particulars being supplied. An application from J. Adkins to transfer sections 16 and 19, block 10, Mangauui, to L. Meyer, was left withjthe Oommisisoner to deal with. The Commissioner reported that the thirds distributed to local bodies daring the year amounted to £13,794, while there was still a sum of £9OOO available for proposals were in. A ballot for section 34, block 6, Rangatana Township, resulted in favour of Robert Dixon. The question of the sub-division and transfer of seoton 28, Taihape Village Settlement, was left in the hands of the Commissioner.
