General Sir O’Moore Oreagh will succeed Lord Kitchener. Dr. William Bruce, cf the Scottish Oceanographical Laboratory, is planning a three years’ Antarctic expedition in 1911 at a cost of £50,000. Sydney, April 2. There was a serious accident at the Bathurst races. A horse fell, bringing down three others. Three jockeys (Fieelaud, O’Connor and Neal) were dangerously injured, while a fourth (Oasson) sustained slighter injuries.
