Time, 2.9. A protest against Footpad was upheld and the Thrust declared the winner, Sydney, March 23. The New Zealander Spowfoot ran unplaced in the Rosehill Juvenile Stakes. A dozen horses fell in the Trial Stakes. All Blue was killed and several jockeys badly injured, Olajfccm seriously.
