The Queensland loan is quoted at % per cent, discount. It is understood the underwriters will receives large w proportion. The Standard comments npoo the ill chance of the loan coinciding with the troubled political situation, and adds that doubtless it will be quickly absorbed by the investment market.
London, March 19. A The underwriters received 81 per cent, of the Queensland loan.
