J TOWN BOARD 1 At a Special Meeting of the Lethbridge Town Board, held at Turakina on the 2nd day of March, 1909, the following resolution was adopted, viz. : “ That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on d, loan of £3OO authorised to be raised by the Lethbridge ow n Board under the provisions of “ The Local I Bodies Loans Act, 1908, for the following works : 1. A loan of £97 for the construction of a concrete culvert on the Main Trunk Road within the Lethbridge Town District. 2. A loan of £37 for the construction of a concrete culvert on the Main Trunk Road within the Lethbridge Town District. 3. A loan of £166 for the construction of 30 chains concrete kerbing and channelling within the township of Turakina. And the said Lethbridge Town Board hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of one penny halfpenny (1-Jd) in the £ sterling upon the rateable valuation (annual value) of all rateable property of the Lethbridge Town District, and that such rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable in one sum on the Ist day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of 41 years or until the loan is fully paid off, the interest on such loan being at the rate of per cent, per annum. And it is hereby further notified that a. Special Meeting of the Lethbridge Town Board will be held at Turakina on the 31st day of March, 1909, at 8 p.m. to confirm sueh resolution, R. J. ' Specification and forms of tender may be obtained at the Railway Manager’s Offices at Auckland, Wellington, Wanganui, Christchurch, Dunedin and Greymouth, or at the stations named. Tenders are to be addressed to the General Manager, Government Railways, Wellington, aud marked outside “ Tender for Refreshment Rooms.” Telegraphic, tenders will not be received, and no tender will necessarily be accepted.
