THE STIRLING CASE.

In the Court of Sessions, Edinburgh, a divorce was granted to Mr J. A. Stirlog, but refused to his wife in her cross action against her husband. Lord Guthrie, in delivering judgment, alluded to selfish idle to those led by Mrs Stirling and Mrs Atherton, upon both of whom he was very severe.
[ln this case Lord Northland.eldest son of Lord Ranfurly, was corespondent, and Mrs Stirling charged her husband with misconduct with Mrs Atherton, who was divorced from her husband and afterwards brought a futile action for breach of promise against Captain YardeBuller, the co-respondent in her divorce case; who she alleged had promised to marry her. ]
