THIS DAY. (Before Mr A. D. Thomson, S.M.) ROleland ana jt-lllar pleaded guilty topwo charges of having an apprentice in their employ who was not legally indentured, and with having.paid wages on a Saturday instead of on a Friday. Mr Cleland said the apprentice referred to is his son. Fined £3 on first charge and £1 on the second. " Judgment was given for plaintiff in the following undefended cases: — J. Jacobsen v. H. T. Wyatt, £lO 3s 6d, costs £1 3s 6d; John Smith y. Robert Linton. £3 6s 2d. costs 10s; John Draper v. T. T. Graham, £3 7s 6d, costs 12s; Lenuard Bros. v. Ohayne Bros., £3 4s. costs 365; Lucas v. R. Krebs. £3 10s, costs 10s; Joseph Darragh v. Ohayne Bros. £l7 13s Bd, costs £3 ,6s 6d; Hodder and Tolley v. J. H. Leonard, £2 19s 6d, costa 15s; J. D. and R. Anderson v. Ellen Hazel, £6 4a 9d, costs 27s 6d. The following judgment summonses were dealt with : F. W, Bismarck v. O. Drummond, £56 11s 3d. Ordered to pay £1 per month. Palmerston Cycle 00. v. R. MoWhiney, £3 lls. To pay forthwith, in default three days in Wanganui gaol. Same v, Patrick Scrimshaw, £lO 16s. To pay forthwith ior 10 days in New Plymouth gaol.
