Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Manawatu County Council held at Sanson on the 10th day of February, 1909, Special Orders were adopted as under:— . 1. Authorising the raising of a loan of £6OO under the provisions of The Bodies Loans Act, 1908,” to provide for the construction of drainage works in the Oroua Downs Estate and WellingtonManawatu Railway Company’s Endowment. Term of loan, 41 years at per centam per annum, 2. Authorising the raising of a loan of £3OO under the provisions of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908.” to provide for the construction of drainage works in Block 1, Sandy Survey District. Term of loan, 41 years at 34 per centum per annum. 3. To provide security by way of Special Rate of one-third of a penny in the £ sterling over the Oroua Downs Special Rating District on a loan of £6OO to be raised under “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908,” (the said loan to be for a period of forty-one years), and that the interest to be paid at the rate of 3-£ per centum per annum, to provide for the construction of drainage works in the Oroua Downs Estate and Wellington-Manawatu Railway Company’s Endowment, 4. To provide security by way of Special Rate of one-seventh of a penny in the £ sterling over the Wakapuni Special Rating District on a loan of £3OO to be raised under “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908,” (the said loan to be for a period of foity-one years) and that the interest to be paid at the rate of per centum per annum, to provide for the construction of drainage works in Block 1, Sandy Survey District. Copies in full of the foregoing Special Orders are deposited at the County Offices. Sanson.
