Per Press Association. ■' Carterton, March 8. Burnett, who was drowned in the Wainuiorn river, was swimming horses in a deep pool and fell off one. Bassett jumped In to his rescue and was grabbed by deceased, who could not swim, and nearly drowned too. The body was recovered by fishing with hooked lines.
