Time, Imin 30sec. Place Handicap, IY z miles: Karranaudl, Nushba 2, Lady Wilde 8. Won by half a neck. Time, 2mm 38sec. i Autumn Steeplechase, about a miles. : Seymour I, Decoration 2. Postboy S. Ten others started. The race was regarded as one of the best ever run at Flemington. Champion Stakes, 3 miles: Pendil 1, Signor 2, Trafalgar 3. A great race; won by a head. Time, 6min 4seo. The result evoked great cheering. Farewell Handicap, 1 mile.— Maltilen 1, Verenice 3, Scotland 8. Won by fix lengths. Time, Imin 43sec.

“"WANGANUI J.O. MEETING. SECOND DAY. Press Association. Wanganui, March 6. The Wanganui Cup Meeting was concluded on Saturday in glorious weather, the attendance being again very large. The totalisator investments for the day were £12,313, against £13.439 last year, making a total for the meeting of £24,721, an increase of £234 compared with last year. In the Wanganui Stakes, Apa ('Addington—Muriwai) came to grief, and subsequent investigation showed he had broken a near hind tendon, and he had to ha destroyed. Results: —

Matarawa Hack, six furlongs.— Mulga Bill 1, 2, Overtime 3. : Courier. Te Kauharangi was first to take command with Burton and Mulga Bill close up. The order was the same until entering the straight, where Mulga Bill ran to the front and won by a length from Shannon Lass who finished vory fast. Time, Imin 16sec.

Jackson Stakes, six furlongs.— Provocation 1, Gold Crest 2, Lady MenschikoS 3. Xylophone also started. Provocation was ahead after going half a furlong, with Xylophone next. Gold Orest made a great effort coming round the bend and quickly settled Xylophone, bat could not got Provocation, who won by three lengths, lour lengths between second and third. Time, Imin 13 3-ssec. '

Fordell Hurdles, 1% miles.—Tonderghie 1, Maidi 2, Commander 3. Also ran: Exmoor, Aorangi and Waimaria. Won by three good lengths, .four lengths between second and third.

Okoia Hack Hurdles, 1 mile and 5 furlongs.—Ohase Mab 1, Whimper 2, Aotea 3. Also ran: Don Carlos, Sedgemoor. Won by six lengths, a head between second and third. Time, 2min 55sec.

Wanganui Stakes, 1% miles.—All Red 1, Master Delaval 2, Kilmarnock 3 Also ran : Apa, Tangimoana, Roosevelt and Balario. Won by a length and a half, a neck between second and third. Time, 2min 35 4-ssec.

Harrison Hack Handicap, 1% miles.—First Mate 1, Paione 2, Anemone 3. Also ran: Perolina, Astraea, Research, Parable and Recreation. Won by a good length. Time, 2min Usee. Farewell Handicap, 6 furlongs.— Moriarty 1, Longner 2, Ballarat 3 Also started: Golden Eagle and Merrivonia. Won by two lengths. Time, Irain ssec.
