Press Association. Gore, March 6. At Gore Court tcis Mr Keuriok imposed a fine of £3 and Court costs 7s, against Frederick Dickson, charged with selling whisky on January 19th last, in a no-license district. Mr Kenrlck stated “there is no evidence of saD but to persons employed by the police for the purpose. I think a small fine will meet the case.” Charles Bnmpa, on a charge of selling beer, pleaded guilty, and was fined £lO, and oosta 7s. Malaohi Hanley, previously convicted, was sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment, but the warrant was suspended during .the illness of his daughter, and he was ordered to come npfor sentence on March 2oth.
