-REFUSES to return to his WIFE. * ' Mrs Rosalind Ohetwynd obtained an order for the restitution of con'jugal rights in the Divorce Court by reason of the desertion of her husband, Mr George- Gny Ohetwynd, eldest son of Sir George Ohetwynd. . The marriage tools place m - under. romantic circumstances, and was one of the social sensations of the season. The parties were practi- > , oally engaged,, but their friends did hot hear of the wedding until some days i after it took place at the Marylebohe parish church, Ihey •then, crossed to Paris, where Mr Ohetwynd’s mother, the Marchioness of Hastings, was staying with her sister' the Marchioness of Anglesey, . and Were received with open The bride’s mother, Mrs William H. Seoor, of New York, afterwards marked her approval of the marriage by settling £SOOO a year on her daughter. At the beginning of last ' year he left his w|fe and child, and although Mrs Ohetwynd_ had ample means she found the situation intolerable. She accordingly wrote her husband asking him to return it only for the sake of their child. Mr •Ohetwynd replied: . “Rosalind. -I am in receipt of yonr letter, in which yon ask me to return. As I told yon months ago, my decision is unalterable, and I ■ cannot do so. I intend living my own life in fntnre, so yon can take what steps you like. It is quite use- ’ less to say anything further to me.” Asked where her husband was, Mrs Ohetwynd replied that he was shooting lions in Africa, somewhere in the neighbourhood of Khatroum. ' The judge made an order as stated.
