SHOOTING.

The Manchester Rifles fired their first competition fer company belt on Saturday. A somewhat tricky wind was blowing. Scores, seven shots at each range First Class.

SANDON-OHAKEA rifle club. The' shooting \of the Club was above the average last Saturday and the weather being favourable there was a good muster. Mr W. Penny, a first year man, got first leg in. Scofres: —
