ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

Per Frets Association. Mastertcn, February 22. A boy named Henry John Kavanagb, aged sis years, and four months, son of Mr B. Kavanagb, Inspector of Permanent Way in the Railway Department, died in tho hospital this morning as the result of being run over on Saturday by a waggon loaded with straw. Two wheels passed over his legs inflicting terrible injuries. On leg had to be amputated at the hip and the other would have been similarly treated had the Jad lived. The lower portion of the abdomen was also badly mutilated. At 'the inquest to-day the Coroner returned a verdict oi accidental death, due, not only to injuries received, but to subsequent shoctc from the operation.
