UNITED STATES TARIFFS.

A National Tariff Convention, comprising 3000 delegates is sitting at Indianapolis and discussing the question of appointing a permanent Advisory Commission to Inform Congress on all matters relating to tariff schedules periodically. It recommended changes with the object of endeavouring to keep the tariff out ol partisan politics.
