SHOOTING.
Owing to the prolonged harvest this year shooting has been put off later than usual, bat a start was made last Saturday,, and it will now continue on through the season. Shooters were only able, to fire at one range last Saturday, because of a swarm of bees in the pit which proved more iuvincible chan anticipated, consequently half the afternoon was gone before the formidable foe was vanquished by smoke. Following are (he scores 300 yards.— C. Penny 31, A. O. Perry 31, S. Penny"3o, W. A. Lumsdeu 29, H. Fagan 29, F. Lumsden 27. Cheltenham Rifle Club wijl fire fqr cash prizes on Saturday, Members are requested to bo on the range at 1 p.m.
