Hilmi Pasha, Minister for the Interior in Kiamil’s Cabinet, has formed a Ministry,* including Ali Riza, Minister for War, whose removal caused the crisis.
Rifaat Pasha, the present; Ambassador in London, has been appointed Minister for Foreign Affairs.
Kiamil's Ministers, for Public Works, Commerce and Justice, remain.
London, February 15. Reuter’s correspondent advises that popular demonstrations ofjconfldenoe in Kiamil are being restrained with difficulty, though Kiamil declines ovations in the Jinterest |Jof public order. The public view with much concern the interference of an irresponsible body like the committee.
The Times’ Constantinople correspondent states that many members of the Chamber voted against their convictions in obedience to veiled compulsion. The Young Turks have issued a special manifesto insisting on their Anglophile policy, declaring this to be in conformity "with the desires of the Ottoman National Party,
