LEVIN-MARTON RAILWAY.
Press Association. Foxton, February 13. Mr Newman, M.P., last month wrote to the Minister of Public Works asking when the trial survey of the Railway route between Levin and Marton via Foxton would be made. -In reply,Jtbe Minister states that no special vote having been taken for this survey, the work has not been put in hand, but the question of making necessary provision will receive consideration when the whole matter of a survey of the proposed lines is being dealt with. It was understood that a sum had been placed on the Estimates for this purpose. 4
