U ANGITIKBI COUNTY JL" COUNCIL. Public Notice is hereby given that a warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor dated the 15th day of January, 1909, has been issued under the powers contained in Section 119 of “ The Public Works Act, 1908,” authorising the Rangitikei County Council to construct a bridge over the Kawhatau Biver on the Potaka Road. The said warrant further provides that the cost of such work, less such contribution as may be made thereto by the Government of New Zealand, shall be borne as follows:—The Council of the County of Rangitikei to bear twothirds of such cost and the Council of the County of Kiwitea to bear one-third of such cost.
