United Press Association.—By Electric Telegiaph.—Copyright. London, The Times’ New York correspondent reports that the Government at Washington is seriously 'concerned over the situation on the Pacific coast as other States are joining California in its anti-Asiatic crusade. It is feared that unless the national legislature earnestly deals with the question of Asiatic immigration, these State legislatures will continue their irritating tactics and arouse ■Japanese resentment. It is believed that Japan has nptifijd America that school segregation legislation is the most offensive of all the proposed measures. San Francisco, February 8.
