London, February 6. marl Crewe has instructed Sir 1 Charles Lucas, head of the Dominions Department, to make a prolonged visit to Australia and New Zealand. Sir Arthur Pearson accompanies him, the Commissioners sailing .on February 26th. The Times says that the visit is doubtless in response to Mr Deakin’s suggestion on the last day of the Imperial Conference that Sir Charles Lucas’s quiet judgment and kindly tact would assure him of a ready welcome and recalls Lord Northcote 2 advice at the recent banquet in his .honour. .
