San Francisco, February 5, The Californian Assembly rejected the Bill prohibiting aliens being members of corporations, also the Bill requiring the segregation of Japanese from whites, but agreed to the Bill excluding Japanese from the public schools. President Roosevelt ha • telegraphed Governor Gillet that this was the most offensive 'Bill .of aii and was clearly,unconstitutional, adding “We should be compelled to test it.”
