STOCK REPORT. Messrs Abraham & Williams report At Palmerston North jesterday we had u good yarding of all classes of stock, numbers of unadvertised stock putting iu an appearance. The demand for sheep , was keen, every lot being sold before the finish of the sale. Cattle were slightly slower of sale than ' last week. The Feilding Ram Fair being held no doubt kept many buyers away. •We quote Sheep : 4 .and 5-yeaf breeding ewes 10s to IDs 4d, woolly lambs good 10s 4d to 10s (id, shorn lambs small 7s (id, small 2 tooth wethers 8s 6d, woolly ewes and lambs (cull, all counted) 9s lOd, old ewes 5s lOd to 6s lid. Cattle : 2%year steers £3 18s 6d, fat bullocks £7 •6s, forward bullocks £5 15s, fat maiden heifers £4 10a, forward heifers £3 17s 3d, forward cows £3 to £3 ss, yearling heifers and steers l6s to 21s, small calves 9s, , dairy heifers £2 11s to £3, bulls from £2 17s 6(3 to £3 12s 6d Messrs Dalgety & Co., Ltd., held their first Waverley Ram Fair on Tuesday, 2nd inst., when they offered over 1000 rams. There was a good attendance. Lincolns were almost entirely neglected and a big proportion of this entry passed. Romneys and Leioesters, etc., were in better demand and practically the whole of these classes were sold. We quote; Lincolns, on account of J. M. Mathieson, to 2%gus. S.
