A London correspondent writes:— A protracted gale in tlie English Channel has caused a peculiar difficulty in regard i? to the litigation arising out of thejgoollision between the New Zealand steamer Tongariro and the Liverpool steamer Drumianrig. The case is expected to be heard this week, and men on the South and East Goodwin Lightships are important witnesses. Dover togs have twice attempted to get these witnesses, and put relief men aboard', but owing to violent seas they could not get near the; lightships, and had to return. Mr W. A. Kellow, Taranaki - street, Wellington, N..Z., writes; “There is no question about it— Chamberlain’s Colic,' Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy is a fine one. 1 have used it several times and it always gives me immediate relief. Not long ago one of my carters came home wjth a very severe attack of colic and diarrhoea and it only took two doses df Chamberlain’s Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea to fix him up in good shape. 1 never go away on a trip without a bottle of this medicine, for I find that change of water, often affects one.’’ For sale everywhere.
