Nominaiions for Events 1,2, 9, 12, , 13, 14, 15, 17, 18 and ,19 must be in the hands of the Secretary by Saturday, 13th February, and must be accompanied by fees, but with 50 per cent added they will be taken up to day of sports. la. A fine silver cup valued at £8 Bs, to be won twice in succession or three times at intervals, will be given as a points prize in events 3, 5,6, 7,8, and 16. In future years this cup will be given as a points prize for such variety events as committee decide upon. First to count 6, second 3, third 2: 2. Foot events are local events, for those who have lived within a radius of 5 miles of the Ohingaiti Hotel for the 6 months preceding Sports. 3. The Club does not hold itself responsible for any accidents that may occur. 4. Minimum weights for Hunters’ Competitions 12st, for Steeplechase list 71bs, for Scurry lOst, 5. The Pony Races are handicap events, and about 1 mile. 6. There must be three entries or no prize. 7; A gold medal will be given as a points’ prize in the three' foot events. First to count 5, second 3, and third 2. 8. No acceptance moneys. 9. No bookies allowed on course. 10. No payments will be mnde for events 1. 9, 10, 17, 18 and 19 until committee is satisfied that the winner is "a bona fide competitor. Refreshments on ground. Admission Adults, one shilling; children; sixpence; horses, one shilling. Dance in the evening.
