A CHICAGO DISASTER.

A fire in a floating crib," whence access was gained to an aqueduct under Lake Michigan, Chicago, burnt to death twenty people. Ten others were drowned. Meanwhile the fire caused an ekplosion in one tunnel of the aqueduct, killing ten.
