The charge against Wm, Connelly, . at present undergoing a sentence for perjury, of rhurdering Ernest John Bourke at Westport on the Bth , of May last, is proceeding at the Magistrate’s Court to-day; before Mr Rawson, S.M. The information is laid by Police Inspector Black. Mr Wilson, Crown Prosecutor, appears for the prosecution, and accused is unrepresented hy counsel. The evidence for the prosecution is a repetition of the material points of that given in previous proceedings implicating accused. / So far Connolly has pnt no questions to witnesses. ' ’ - , / :
