Messrs Abraham & Williams, Ltd., ■report on their Feilding sale We had a small yarding of both sheep and cattle. Lambs were again keenly competed for. Quotations: Medium lambs 7s, 7a 3d, 7s 9d, to 8s 3d, cull lambs 3a 9d to 6s 6d, forward ewes 7s 6d, cull ewea 4s, store cows £2 10a, cows with calves £3 Is. Loan & Mercantile reportAt Feilding there was a good demand for both sheep and cattle. Rape lambs sold freely, and last week’s rates were fully maintained. Two tooth wethers, small, 10s Bd, 3 tooth; ewes, medium, 13s 3d, good woolly rape lambs 10s, 15 months heifers 31s 6d, forward cows £3 6s. Messrs Gorton & Son’s reportAt Feilding sale we had a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle. The attendance ' was fair, and bidding throughout for All classes of stock was spirited. ‘ The demand for all classes of sheep was good, particularly lambs. Cattle sold well and prices were generally in favour of venders. SWe were successful in quitting the whole of our entry of 10 peas of sheep, and 15 pens of cattle under the hammer. We quote : 3 tooth wethers 11s, mixed lambs 9s 9d and 10s, forward lambs 8s 9d and 9s, small lambs 6s 7d, 6s 9d and 7s 9d. cull lambs 8s Bd, fat and forward ewes 10s 3d and 10s Bd, ewes 9s. Cattle, mother-fed yearling S.H. steers £3 5s 6d, yearling steers 36s 6d, 33s and 88s 6d, poor yearling steers 19s and 20s, 18 months daxiy heifers £3 15s and £3 17s, yearling heifers 33s 6d, grade Jersey weaner heifers 80s, fat cows £4 Ss, £4 4s and £4 10s, forward cows £3 10a, £2 13s 6d, £3 18s, £8 and £3 Is, hull £3 15s, dairy cows, on behalf Mr B, King, £3, £3 10a, £4, £5 3a 6d, £5 ss, £5 7s 6d, £5 15s, £6, £6 2s 6d, £6 10s, £6 15s and £6 17s 6d. Messrs-Dalgety & Co., Ltd., report:—At Wanganui on 13th inst. we yarded 3500 sheep and a small entry of cattle. Boyers were in attendance and there was good competition lor all classes, the bulk of the entry being cleared under the hammer. Quotations: 4 tooth wethers 10s 6d, 10a lid to 11s 6d, cull wethers 9s Id, medium 2 tooth wethers 10a, good 3 tooth ewes 13s 3d, 4 tooth to f.f.m. ewes 9s 6d to 9s 7d, old ewes 7a to 7s 3d, ewes acd iambs (all counted) 6s, medium lambs 7s 6d, 7s 7d to Bs, 3 to 4 year bullocks £4 15s, springing heifers £3 5s to £4, cows in milk £5, store cows £3 14s. At our Feilding sale ,on Friday the 15th inst., we had a good .yarding of sheep and a medium entry of cattle. All classes of stock were in good demand, and prices obtained were highly satisfactory to vendors. We quote; Sheep, cull lambs 6s Id to 6s 2d, small lambs to 7s, fair rape Jambs to 8s lOd, good rape lambs to 9s Bd, 2 tooth wethers small 9s 4d, 2 tooth wethera to 11s sd, 3 tooth Lincoln rams 16s, f.xn. Lincoln rams 10s -6d, Cattle, forward, cows to £3 9s, forward heifers £2 13s to £3 14s* 2 year steeds £3 Is, bulls \£2 3s to £3 17s 6d, cows and calves £3 5s to £3 9s 6d.

FEILDING MARKET REPORT,

Messrs A. H. Atkinson & Co., Ltd,, report Large consignments of fruit and general produce at Friday’s market. All frnit met a good market, every case being sold with strong inquiry. Owing to weather conditions the pig and poultry entry was not as large as last weak. We'quote ; Pigs: Suckers 4s, weanera 7s to 11s 9d, stores 17s 6d to 19s Bd, medium porkers 25s 6d. 34s 6d, 33s 3d. Poultry; Hens small Is to Is 4d. Produce: Table potatoes 9s 6d per sack, marrows 4s 6d per half sack, cucumbers 4s 3d per case, Burbank and other plums 3s 3d to 3s 6d per case. Cherry plums made an average price of 2d per lb, apples from 4s 6d to 7s per case, tomatoes 2a per 121 b case, fowl feed 9s per sack. A quantity of household furniture, grggkery, etc,, was disposed of.
