TRENTHAM ;TRAINING NOTES. Press Association. Wellington, January 16. This morning’s gallops at Trentham were accomplished in unpleasant weather conditions. Husbandman and Sunbonnet were sent over ten furlongs. The former covered considerably more ground than did the mare, but aided by his light weight the Derby colt should have been closer at the finish. ,The time taken was 2min 22sec. Goldbeater moved freely in a mile bout with Glencullooh, and Sharpshooter was alongside Broadsword at the end of five furlongs run in Imin ssec. Flitaway led Tnmut by a clear length in the first half of five furlongs, hut the latter got on terms in the straight, and the pair finished together in Imin Moloch, after going two furlongs, had Osiris to bring him along from the mile post, and the Cup horse ran ten furlongs in 2min 21seo, the last sevenfin Imin 39sec. Artillerie and Sir Frisco ran once round. The little bay horse was on the outside all the way, and if anything appeared to hold the Oaks winner at the finish. The time recorded was 2min 23sec. lianui galloped a mile in Imin 56sec. Wharekura had a silght advantage of Effort over five furlongs ran in Imin 6seo. Armlet ran away from Miss Mischief in a six farlong go run in Imin lssec. Prism ran a mile in Imin 54sec.
