Messrs Jackson & 00. will offer a large entry of sheep at their Wanganui sale on Wednesday next, including a good line of 1500 2 tooth ewes. Attention’is directed to a number of new advertisements in the wanted column, inserted by Messrs E. Reynolds & Co., Ltd., Palmerston N., relating to cycles and accessories. Messrs Davenport Bros., Marton, have a new advertisement to-dav on page 8, of bargains obtainable at their sale. An inset is also circulated giving fuller details of goods and prices. Pobangina County Council invites tenders for quarrying and delivering 1000 yards of metal on Apiti-Norse-wood road. It is not the case of a watch that makes a good timepiece, but the works inside, so with tailoring. Peroival & 00., of Feilding, advertise that they put in the work and that is why their garments always keep their form. Note address in their advertisement.
Attention is directed to a special notification relative to overdue accounts owing to the Advocate, which appears before the leader to-day. The attention of Sunday and Day School Committees is specially drawn to an announcement elsewhere. . The snrplns of toys, books, and fancy goods which were left over from Christmas at Veitoh & Allan’s store, Wellington, are to be disposed of at almost half prices. This is an opportunity which will rarely, if ever, occur again.
