HUNTERVILLE BOWLING CLUB.

From Our Own Correspondent,

One of the best and brightest meetings held of a local nature was held last night. Bowlers are credited generally with being grey and godly. This is something to the oreait of the township. It was discovered that there was sufficient money for the purchase of the laud. Considering the tightness of things generally this gave an impetus that set things jigging. On the top of this a member offered to finance things. Nothing could have heralded the birth of our Bowling Club with a rosier outlook. It is hardly necessary to say this offer was accepted with thanks. Messrs MoManaway and Wilson were appointed to superintend making of green, the work to be gone on with at once under the supervision of Mr Fraser, who has coniiderable experience in work of this kind.
