ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Per Press Association. Reefton, January 14. At the inquest on the naan Millar, a verdict of death from suffocation by falling on his face when stupid with chlorodyne, was returned. Auckland, January 15. f A young woman named Mary Donovan, convicted at Auckland of being an incorrigible rogue and sent to the f Magdalene Home, Christchurch, has disappeared en route. A telegram received by Inspector Cullen, of Auckland, states that she has not reached her destination, and it was surmised she was lost overboard on the passage from Wellington to Lyttelton. Blenheim, January 15. A married woman, named Miller, and her daughter were driving near Havelock yesterday, when the horse became unmanageable, smashed the trap and threw both ladies ont. Miss Miller was unhurt but her mother fractured her skull and died in the evening. Christchurch. January 15. A man named William Banks, cook at a grass seed camp at Puaha, Little River, died suddenly yesterday morning. He had undergone an operation ten months ago for appendicitis. The post mortem showed stoppage in the region that had been affected, causing death.
SUOROSINE FED PIGS, secured over 100 awards at last Spring Shows. The fattest pig at the Christchurch Show was fed on SUOROSINE, and was purchased by the Christchurch Meat Company, for exhibition purposes. It is false economy to feed pigs altogether on skim milk, lib of SUOROSINE to half a gallon of skim milk will give better results.
