COLLAPSE OF A CHURCH ROOF

The roof of an old church* collapsed at Max, Switzerland, during |a service. Forty villagers were killed and 60 injured. Some attribute the accident to an earthquake, while others declared it was caused by ringing the bells when the strength of the building was being impaired by extension.
